Born in 2021 during one of the world’s most uncertain times, Elevate Worx began with a purpose far beyond profit. Founded to help freelancers find meaningful work during the COVID-19 era, our heart has always been rooted in service—to people, to community, and to purpose. We saw a gap in the market for affordable, intimate events like weddings and funerals, and we knew we could fill it—with excellence, compassion, and creativity. For us, client satisfaction has always outweighed chasing income. That’s our DNA.

Lourens “Bones” Nel, our COO, is the tech wizard behind the curtain. With 14 years of hands-on experience in sound, lighting, AV, and all things technical, Bones doesn’t just execute—he empowers. He’s known for his client-focused mindset and his passion for mentoring the next generation of technicians.
Nomangwane “Nomiy” Nel, our CEO, is a producer at heart. With a strong background in producing world-class live shows, Nomiy brings an eye for detail, a flair for excellence, and the visionary leadership that fuels every event we take on. Together, they lead Elevate Worx with authenticity and intention.
